To fully explore and understand the ocean, we can no longer rely on a handful of large, expensive research vessels and vehicles. We truly need All Hands on Deck to do it. In November, we will bring together leaders and changemakers in ocean exploration, entertainment, recreation, and art to imagine creative new ways to empower an open, inclusive global community of ocean explorers.
Play & Imagine
Some of our most fundamental passions were ignited as children, while playing games and listening to stories. We will explore how we can tap into play, games, recreation, and transmedia storytelling to spark curiosity in explorers of all ages so that they can imagine a bright, optimistic future for the ocean.
Create & Immerse
From art and music to augmented and virtual realities, humans create experiences that transport us to other worlds. We will dive into new exciting ways to create immersive experiences that convey the mystery, wonder, and inspiration of the sea.
